Brampton’s Vision

Is it time to relocate?

The City of Brampton proudly states it is “.. committed to the vision of providing a vibrant, safe and attractive city of opportunity where efficient services make it possible for families, individuals and the business community to grow, prosper, and enjoy a high quality of life for all who live, work, visit and invest in the City of Brampton”.

Wow, what a commitment and definitely worth researching. What does this city offer that makes Bramptonians so proud and invested in their city?

Brampton’s proximity to Toronto Pearson International Airport and to Highways #407, #410, #427 and #401 puts Brampton on the business map. The development of Highway 407 has been considered in the city’s Official Plan, designating specific business park locations along this highway. Key factors in business success are transportation availability and accessibility to diverse and skilled employees. Attracting industry and creating employment for the growing population will keep Brampton’s business community thriving.

Along with the development of business networks, Brampton is looking at the city’s telecommunication infrastructure. Brampton is striving to embrace the 21st century with highly developed telecommunications networks for both business and residents.

Brampton is recognized as one of Canada’s safest communities. Brampton Transit promotes and supports safety by stopping at requested stops other than regularly designated transit stops if evening travel or safety is a concern. This program supports a city vision of safety.

Like many other Ontario cities near the Greater Toronto Area, you will find ample shopping at nine area malls, three popular flea markets, numerous farmer and country markets, and of course historic downtown Brampton.

Downtown shoppers enjoy plenty of free and paid parking, an astonishing choice of unique boutiques and spas, and abundant dining opportunities. The new Performing Arts Centre is sure to attract new visitors and performers to the city’s core. The Brampton Arts Council and The Region of Peel Museum offer a wide selection of opportunities in historical venue, art, music, dance and drama.

Enjoy Brampton’s “Professor Lake”, a 65-acre spring-fed lake with a fantastic beach for sailing, fishing, paddle boating, even windsurfing. Golfing is effortlessly accessed at one of the six golf courses or five driving ranges.

Urban living with safety, vision and a plan that supports a positive environment for living – that’s Brampton!
