If you have considered renovating your home to improve it's value or selling power there are a few rooms that you should definitely consider. Are you ready to move walls to achieve your goal? If not you may want to concentrate on the other rooms. If so then try to plan every aspect of the renovation to the last detail and be prepared for any contingency. Another thing that can create the feeling of openness with an entranceway is a new door with a glass panel. This allows natural light into the home and creates the illusion of a larger space. Also if you are so inclined, a cutout above the door will further the feeling of openness and make the area brighter. This is also a great area to express your creativity with a stained glass area or specialty window.
There are numerous areas in the home that can easily express your creative side or add to the artistic value of your home. Natural light is one of the best ways to increase the visible space in your home. For smaller homes this is of great value in making sure the home does not feel cramped. Also, windows can add significant value to homes and help in saving money on heating costs. Take some time and think about what you are trying to create with your home. A good amount of natural light will make your home a more inviting place for buyers.
